Fliegenfischer - Forum

Hello everyone!

My name's Andrew Hogg, I'm Scottish and I live in Vienna. I work for the ÖFG as a scientific advisor and studied aquaculture and fisheries management at Aberdeen University. My main occupation is primary school teacher.

I also work as a bilingual (spoken Eng/Deu) guide specialising in wild brown trout fishing in the highland lochs.

Looking forward to the forum! I can speak and read German perfectly well but my written German..... It may as well be pikinese!

Hello Scotsman!

Sounds kind of interesting to catch wild brownies in Lochs! I actually prefer streams, but nevertheless I have planned to go to the highlands some day.
My cousin also lives in Vienna, but she´s not really into fishing. Vienna isn´t quite on my way down to Bosnia where I liketo go flyfhishing the most, but next time when I go down there, your welcome to accompany me! I´ll pick you up after visiting my Cousin if you like to! This way I can maintain at least some of my english skills...
