Hi Hinchely,
interessante Einblicke... und schöne Muster !
Den Text von RD hier zu seinen Shrimps finde ich besonders gut:
------------------
You'd be surprised how effective they work! I use them unweighted and they resemble scuds and sand hoppers very well.
Czech nymphing? Naaaah, Danish nymphing - the new style!!
I do use them all year and they are effective but if I had to choose then spring and fall would be the time.
I normally fish them over very shallow water, between weed beds.
In my experience wading scares so many trout that tend to hunt closer to shore than most people think.
You don't need to cast far and it's hard to explain to people that fish can survive and feed in water cm's deep.
We all have a tendancy to wade out up to our armpits whack that fly out as far as we can. Who knows how many fish we spook in the process?
-------------------
wohl wahr...
Gruß, Andreas
